Order Information

Order Changes:
Orders are entered into our production folder immediately they are placed.

 

Changes to your order are subject to the following conditions:

If the requested change can be achieved at the current stage of production on your neck or body, a $50.00 charge will apply. (Strictly Enforced due to recent abuse).

This will also be resetting the turnaround time to a certain degree.

If the requested change requires us to restart production with a new neck or body, a 20% restocking charge will apply to the purchase price of the item.

Warranty: 

Our basic warranty is 90 days for defects in material or workmanship for finished necks and bodies.  All items shipped to you from Parklane Guitars should be inspected upon receipt.  We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to an issue in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 90 days from the date of receipt.  Any issues resulting from atmospheric conditions, i.e. warp or twist, fret sprout (many reasons cause fret sprout, mainly humid climates) are not covered no matter how you claim to have looked after your neck.  Each case is different and we may respond accordingly.  Any returns must be pre-approved and must be authorized!  All returned items must be in ORIGINAL, UNALTERED condition. Important! We will not issue a return for any neck that has been customized with an Explicit Head Stock Logo or has a Customer Sent Headstock Shape whether ordered through us or added by a customer. No Exeptions!     Customers are responsible for the shipping of the returned items.  Also please be sure you use the provided Allen Key Wrench so damage doesn't occur to the truss rod.  If you happen to lose your wrench, contact us and we can send you a replacement for cost plus shipping.

Order Cancellations:
Custom orders canceled during the build process will incur a 30% (Strictly Enforced due to recent activities) restocking fee.  A restocking fee for completed orders is 30%.​

Shipping Information

Domestic Shipping:
For domestic shipments in the continental United States our standard method is UPS

International Shipping:
For shipments outside of the United States, we use USPS “Priority Mail International" and DHL.

You will be responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country.  When ordering from parklaneguitars.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.  Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country.  Additional charges for customs clearance must be handled by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.  Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.

When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.

Please do not ask us to mis-represent the value of a shipment to overseas. We are unable to carry out such requests. Doing so could put our business at risk.

Tracking Information:
When your item ships, you should receive an automated email saying that the order has shipped.  Please login into your account to see the tracking number.
