For domestic shipments in the continental United States our standard method is USPS (United States Postal Service).
For shipments outside of the United States, we use USPS “Priority Mail International.” We will soon offer UPS for an additional cost.
You will be responsible for assuring that the product can be lawfully imported to the destination country. When ordering from parklaneguitars.com, the recipient is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the United States may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees levied by the destination country. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the destination country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be handled by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information.
When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.
Please do not ask us to mis-represent the value of a shipment to overseas. We are unable to carry out such requests. Doing so could put our business at risk.
Once our product leaves the United States we can not hold responsibility if the order is held in customs indefinitely or lost in your country. Especially with the current Covid situation taking place in the world.
